need update for HOT

+1 on this one.
yes, the site something changed with the site. it does pull all show titles with date and times, but no descriptions.
all titles show up with (?).
The log file is full of errors for all HOT channels.

they changed the details page.when the index_title doesnt match the details title you get that error.
in this case the page didnt fail(error 404) it returns useless incorrect data.
if webgrab gets any response from a details page it expects to find a title.
were trying to fix it.

It seems that it is no longer just the HOT site in Israel...?
I am got an error message with pulling channels EPG from YES as well. Ran the channel creation and got this error in the log:

[Error ] Unable to update channel dummy
[Critical] Generic syntax exception:
[Critical] message:
[Error ] no index page data received from dummy

yes is working fine....
Anyway we have a big issue with hot.net we can grab channel list, we can get epg(title + description)but we cannot match it to channel name/number.Will keep having a look, so be patient

I can confirm that Yes is working properly. Problem is only with HOT (they got new epg site layout).

ini is diff,new urls.

is the ini file updated in the EPG Channels section?
Looking at the current ini it has the same version and date on it.

get it from github
it takes awhile for the siteini.pak(epg channels page) to update from git.

i dont remember what the old ini used.
mat did the actual update,i just help figure out the channel list but i do know the channels id are differnt from the old channel list.
so i also assume that means the old ini used different urls than the new one so i would replace everything.

compare your old channel ids to the new ones for some channels and see if they are the same

no,its a total rewrite.
no idea what you mean by v2,i assume u mean encryption,v2 was replaced with v3 so your sol.

ini encryption and license check have nothing to do with each other.

contact WGMaker is all i can suggest.

btw your licence check still must be done,even as a registered user or else you drop to non-registered user which you dont get much with.

I just had a chance to check the output.
First off, it is extremely fast now! Amazing!!

Unfortunately, there are several channels, which are actually the ones that are probably the most used, that for some reason are not pulling any EPG data (titles, times or description). As reference, using WG++ v3.3, Win 11, HOT Rev 7 ini file.

Here are a few channels that are having issues:
* HOT cinema 1
* HOT cinema 2
* HOT cinema 3
* HOT cinema 4
* Cinema Family
* Bollywood HD
* Bollywood
* HOT8 - this one did pull EPG, but it is very spotty. a lot of no info gaps in the EPG.

Here are a few samples from the log file for these channels:

same info applies as to what you need to download as per the post.

google dotnet install [your linux distro]
there are tons of tutorials
the important thing is you only need to install the .net runtime
u can install more like sdk,aspnet runtime,ect but its not needed.

follow what the post says and use V5.0.1
you need dotnet runtime 6.x for this

Thanks. I noticed people having some troubles with dotnet, so I guess I will stick with Mono.

@izi i sent the files to jan also.
i dont have logins or the encryption tool so everyone will have to wait for one of them to add it.

btw V3.x will no longer be updated.
it uses netframework which is end of life,microsoft is no longer updating it.
all new versions will be dotnet from here foreward.

One question on it though, there used to be before this update two versions of YES config files.
* yes.co.il.E - which was the updated to v3 one
* yes.co.il - for the previous versions.

Now there is only the unified one you have posted. I'm assuming just use that one, right?

Those are two different EPG sites/pages. .E is more updated one, but both are working properly.
Regarding HOT, I tested the latest .ini and discovered that it wont fetch more than 48 hours of shows. With old version, I could fetch up to 7 days in advance (very useful for recordings!). Can you guys take a look and see if it can be fixed?

the ini grabs 5 days epg,thats if its there.
i notice that also that the data ran out early.
ini gets everything the site has.
