new channel lists are created in the .wg++ directory.
Thank you i used c but in the log it says no changes, no update necessary
weird because viaplay tv replaces sbs 9 corect me if im wrong
channel list creation operates differently than grabbing epg so any messages other than "no index page received" would be normal.
check your .wg++ directory for a new channel list.
i just created a updated list and i dont see viaplay tv.
i also check the actual page data to make sure channel creation didnt somehow miss it.
its not there.
they havent changed sbs9 to viaplay tv yet.
if its just the channel name thats changed you can edit your channel line and change the xmtv_id and display name to Viaplay TV.
i think they didnt changed sbs9 to viaplay tv yet indeed while odido tv has changed it already thats why i was asking.
its not only the channel name that has changed there are new programs also but thank you for checking and ill wait then
tvgids.nl has it as a additional channel as sbs9 is also still there.

for regular updates use i(incremental)
the only time you should use f(force) is if epg data is corrupt or its sometimes used for channels that have many schedules changes daily(like some sports channels).
incremental update mode will handle these channels correctly but it makes a messy log file as it will contain many changes and corrections webgrab detects.
fyi:
<update>x</update>
this setting overrides channel line update mode(default is update="i" or incremental)
so if you want to run incremental update mode leave it blank
<update></update>
webgrab will use the update="x" setting for each channel line,this way u can set specific channels to use f(force) update mode or any other update mode if you wish.

i misunderstood what you were asking.
reading again i see you wanted to just update this single newly added channel.
i'm sure you probably already have it updated by now but here's a easy way to update newly added channels to existing epg.
1. add the new channel or channels to your webgrab config like you normally add any channel.
2. using your editor replace feature replace update="i" with update=""
3. for only the new channels you added manually change update="" back to update="i"
4. run webgrab,all channels with update="" will not be updated and existing epg will be kept,the newly added channels with update="i" the epg will be grabbed and added to the existing guide.xml
5. again with editor replace update="" with update="i",all channel lines should have update="i" again.future webgrab runs will update all channels normally.
