UK Virginmedia update request

Hi Guys

Looks like Virginmedia have maybe changed their site? I'm getting no index errors.

Running linux mint, latest exe, latest site pack, (Mono JIT compiler version 4.2.1 (Debian 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-7ubuntu4))

Logs and ini's attached, any help gratefully received :-)

Thanks

Rob

Hi All

I really hate to just bump the thread like this but I am down to my last day of guide data on some channels now, some have been blank for a while...

I thought that I had included everything asked for in the Rules and guidelines in my original post but if I have missed anything out it would be really helpful if someone could point it out.

Even just a pointer of where to look would help, I have tried fiddling with the ini but I don’t really know what I’m doing in there.

The URL in the ini points to

When I stick that into a browser it redirects to

But I don’t know if that is an update as I don’t know what it did before.

I have tried changing the URL in the ini to reflect the redirect URL but I really feel I am thrashing about in the dark as I have had no positive results so far.

I have tried examining the page source for the redirect URL as well but as I cannot find any actual EPG data I don’t actually know what I need to point at.

Hi Matt, thanks for replying.

Last time around I sent my donation after my problem had been picked up and fixed really quickly and I felt a contribution for a job well done was in order.

I was hoping we could do the same this time? it seemed to work quite well I thought :-)

Anyone worked out how to do this yet ? That last post was way too cryptic for me

As you pointed out, I've just joined the site. I don't even know if this program will do what I want yet, but this post seems to suggest that the Virgin Media one doesn't work as-is at the moment, and some level of understanding of the program is required to resolve this. Are you suggesting I blindly throw money at something I've not even had a chance to test ?

Hello again, while you realize what the program does and you run your own tests, I attach few channels epg for virginmedia. By the way donators (we talking throwing 5€ or 4.5£) so to have support to requests and more in the near future, of course it's up to you.

Cheers

no probs, i will donate, as much as i can, with the rise in iptv, its a shame it is being abused and your work is somewhat in vain :(
