tvguide.com usa stopped working with 403(Forbidden) error

Hi,

The tvguide.com download started failing about a week ago.
In the log file, every channel gets an error:
error downloading page: Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden).

I have not changed anything in my configuration or channel list since at least February.

Can this be fixed?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi mat8861,

I am in the US (I don't use a VPN). Also, tvguide.com works in the browser.

My user agent was almost the same as in the example that you sent. I updated it to match, and I get the same error messages.

I have attached my ini file, config file and log.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi,

I noticed in the log file that you attached, which showed that it worked for you, that you used "Revision 27" of the ini file.
I was using version25, from February 2024. So I downloaded the version 27 file, and I see that blackbear had updated the url. So I changed the url in my ini file to match what is in version 27, and the downloading is now successful.

Thanks for your help!
Bob

I've updated to rev 27 but I'm still receiving 403 errors. Any suggestions?

Hi Mat,

Thanks for the suggestion.
I had seen that fix in another thread for a different site ini and it was already applied to the config. However, still getting 403 errors.
