Scheduled .BAT stopped working after update to version 2.0

Hello everyone,

Been using WebGrab++ for around a year now and i am very pleased with it, i had to update to a newer version cause of a site ini and after that i am unable to run my scheduled task :(

If i manually run the EPG.bat then everything is working but if i let MediaPortal to run it as a scheduled task then it simply doesnt work :(

I checked and double checked my log files and cannot find anything wrong, it seems as if EPG.bat is not being executed at all, mind you it was working perectly fine with my previous versions.

Reading upon it i realize that since version 2.x WebGrab++ config directories have changed and it seems that this is causing me all the trouble (my EPG.bat is pointing to the correct directories).

This is how my EPG.bat looks like:

c:

cd "C:\Users\Server\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus"

"C:\Program Files (x86)\WebGrab+Plus\bin\WebGrab+Plus.exe"

copy /y guide.xml tvguide.xml

EPG.bat is located @ C:\Users\Server\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus

Any ideas or help would be great.

Thanx in advance.

I'm curious about this too. Actually I was never able to get it to execute using Windows Task Scheduler in the previous version, but now that the install location has changed in v 2, how would you go about setting it up to auto run? Is the tutorial going to be updated? Thanks

Is the support helpful?
support us

Docs are updated (http://webgrabplus.com/documentation/interact-your-pvr-software/schedule...).
Missed that one during the conversion from V1 to V2.

Thanks francis, wasn't able to get it running using the Simple method, but the Advanced method seems to be working fine
