I just added the debug line you mentioned before the exsisting one, as you can see from ini (attached) Still no change in the log.

the original error (in italian)

[Critical]
Stringa non riconosciuta come valore DateTime valido.
[Critical]

seems there is something wrong with the date time value. On the net they report this error when you use dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss instead of dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss or something similar, that does not define the value properly, but on the ini everything looks fine, also could not find any difference in the log of ubuntu and windows10.

I think must be a problem with my local pc, since with ubuntu works ok. I even tried to change on windows10 the date time format, without success. On any channel of mediaset.ini I get the same error. Like I said with your  index_showsplit.scrub {multi(debug separator="},")|{"events":|[|]|}  in the ini nothing change in the log file. Really strange !!

Ok, I could stay without an answer, so I tested with an old version 1.56.14 and works ok !!!  back to 1.57 error again. I tested also with 1.56.28 error again.

Hope this helps you to identify the problem. I am attaching everything. Will be very happy to test a new version.

PS

I'm using windows 10 x64

Also in this ini, commenting out the line:

*index_temp_2.modify {calculate('index_start' < "06:00" format=date,yyyyMMdd)|'showdate' 01:00 -}        * shows before 6am, are called by the previous day

works like a charm.

The only discrepancy I found is:

 <programme start="20161027211000 +0200" stop="20161027220000 +0200" channel="Top Crime">
    <title lang="it">BONES XI</title>

and on the web site is

21:10    BONES XI - PRIMA TV

this will make epg show up with two more our , correct ?
