I have a server running foxtel.com.au.EK siteini just fine.
However i have another server that times out with exactly the same files and config
"error downloading page: The operation has timed out. (80sec)
Retry 1 of 4 times"
Previously id fix this by making sure they all used dns 8.8.8.8 but this time that makes no difference
Anyone else seen this?

I can get the channels.xml to create but when I try and obtain data I'm getting the timeout error too. I've tried with a VPN set to Australia but no luck, lol.

Most probably vpn killers :)....just joking, from my windows pc, my home network in italy (no vpn) time-out="240" i really think timeout is more a limit to be balanced, at the end webgrab grab faster as it can, so that is the advantage, if networks fails it takes forever ....that is dis-advantage.
Thanks Matt, that timeout makes no difference......just makes it longer to fail
it well could be they block some ip ranges or country or alraedy banned the vpn ip (may be another user) Anyway timeout is needed if you grab many days, with the premise that connection works
