first of all I am very satisfied with webgrab and use it every day. But there are some ini channels that doesn't manage to grab data after 4 tries, or some of them claim that there are no new shows. Is there any way to have a couple of fallback ini files which can take in place in such a cases?

I think you don't understand the question. Fallback means if something is not working use something else, it doesn't mean use both of them. So, if ini file is broken or return no results use second ini file, if second is not working go on next one which is third, then forth and so on...
