I am trying to get OSN EPG data. I get following error for any channel I tried:
error downloading page: Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden).
Am I missing something in the configuration? Is this due to missing license for your software? Or is this just due to OSN preventing your tool to scrape its data?

it looks like you need a middle east ip.
i tried egypt,saudi arabia,uae vpn and they are blocking those also.
this is all assuming nothing changed in the ini which i cant check as i cant access the site.
edit:
i got site to load using no vpn.
will look to see why ini doesnt work.
update post when done.

looks like osn is gone as they added a captcha which we cant defeat.

there is some hope.
whatever they did it seems they un did(must be affecting users) as i am again able to grab data.
the ini does need some fixing as they did change some stuff.
if it will continue to work is unknown as they may enable whatever they did again eventually.
will post a updated ini when i get it all fixed.

Regarding another matter, I noticed you're using version V5.2.1.3, while I'm currently on V5.1.4.0. When I attempt to update to a newer version, it crashes. I've reverted to my working version. Are there any specific requirements needed to successfully update?
on windows you need dotnet 8 but it should work with your version. What error do you get? can you post the log?
I have dotnet 7 installed, and after updating webgrab++, the screen flickers, briefly appears, and then disappears without displaying any error messages.

Siteini is in siteini.user folder and the Webgrab++.config.xml is configured properly

Before grabbing from OSN, ELCINEMA, or SAT.TV, always try to open them in a web browser first, as you may occasionally need a VPN to access these sites.
They work fine as I am in Saudi Arabia
are u using windows or linux?
windows - this error use to occur on older versions like windows 7,check and make sure u have tls1.2 enabled(google)
linux - what distrubution are you using?
usually its a ca certificate error so try updating them.

windows 8.1 should just work although check to make sure tls1.2 is enabled.
i think it is by default for it but verify it.

I just verified that it was enabled, also enabled SSL.
Still same issue, unfortunately.
dont know what to suggest but ssl errors are not wg related,its OS issue.
i dont think it matters as i just tried osn and its giving the 403 forbidden error again.
Yeah I couldn't solve the SSL issue despite trying many solutions.
I tried it on a different PC and it worked! No errors at all. Data was pulled successfully!
