These were the only two that provided a wide range of channel data from Russia also in English so I'm not able to get these Russian channels in English elsewhere

ah ok so that works now but what you really need is a way you can put the 187 part in the config file because if you have loads of different channels you don't want to create a siteini for every channel .

As I've no idea how to do it what would be the coding so you could put for example
site_id="187##music-box-ua-299" and that would link to https://tv.yandex.ru/187/channel/music-box-ua-299

Yes but that's what I want to avoid as you only have a limited siteini quota on your licence & I've already got two config files as I've already had to do this with another siteini.

We need a proper solution so you can use one siteini & the config file can insert the required url into the siteini via the siteid field

Yes I agree - would be good to have a working yandex as before - the one posted above in post #9 works but you have to manually change the siteini url value to the channel you want to grab so obviously not good if you want to grab loads as you'll have multiple siteinis

Hopefully you'll find a solution like before
