Working sky uk

Sick of requests from people asking for this. Given that this site seems pretty much dead and no-one can be bothered to do anything for themselves anymore - here it is.

Very basic but quick, so hopefully people can add more features to it.

Do bear in mind that I worked this out in a couple of hours so maybe if people took the time to learn stuff we'd all get further!

Thanks, working great. I have attached the channels file generated from it.

Since this was published suddenly scraping is now super slow using this method.

I had a look, but it looks like rate limiting. Tried to work around it by changing various things like IP, useragent and so on, but it is just really really slow now.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Just found this site. Very impressed with the uk-sky.com_.ini THANK YOU!

I do have one tiny problem that I hope someone can help with. I sometimes use this in USA (where 7pm can be midnight UK time). This means the EPG runs out during peak (US) viewing.

I have tried changing the line in the ini file:
url_index.headers {postdata=channels='channel'&time='urldate'&dur=1440&detail=2&siteId=1}
to
url_index.headers {postdata=channels='channel'&time='urldate'&dur=2880&detail=2&siteId=1}

....in the hope that 1440 Mins means 24 hour EPG and that 2880 would collect 2 days EPG.

Sadly that didn't work.

Does anyone know how to collect 48 hours of EPG from tv-sky.com (or even elsewhere)???

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

You don't need to change the ini file at all, just the number of days in your webgrab config

Many thanks for helping. Works like a charm. Saved me many hours of head-scratching. Cheers!
